Primark Haul #2.

Hello everyone,

The last time I went to Primark I did a fair bit of on damage to my bank account, still the amount I spent wasn't near the amount of my biggest Primark shop..lets just say that's almost £200, that one still shocks me really! I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with everyone single thing that I picked up but I honestly love everything from this little haul.

Now before we start the photos annoy me as well as the lighting kept changing in my room but couldn't see the difference that much until I imported them on my laptop, but you can still get the idea! Also I lost my receipt so I can't put the official prices down as I can't find a lot of the things on the website so in my mini description I'll put a rough guess as to how much they were.

Hogwarts top
Now I'm a complete sucker for an easy wear slogan top, especially if it's Harry Potter themed! I think the gold Hogwarts crest sort of swung my decision to buy this as it just completed the top. I think this top was £7/8, basing this on other Potter tees I've bought in the past.

Blouse
I went through a phase when I was about 16/17 when I would always wear a collared blouse as I was obsessed with the style but collars can annoy me after a few washes as they never seem to sit perfectly in line with each other again! I saw this and thought I needed, the colour is more of a burnt orange than a bright shade. I tried this on at home and the high neck is perfect for me and there's a really cute zip detailing on the back. I'm pretty sure this cost £10.

 Mickey top
When I got this top I wasn't really too sure about wearing it in public, it was for more of a slouchy top for home but when I trying this on I realised it's probably the cutest thing ever! I love the vintage look of it, my cousin had a top like this years ago, and will be perfect for my Disneyland trip in September! I can't really remember the price for this but I think it was about £10 or under.

Pyjama top
I already own a fair few slogan tops that have the theme of Finding Nemo on them so when I saw these I thought it would be brilliant to expand that theme into my pyjamas. Originally I weren't going to buy them as I have probably too many pj's but I couldn't really leave this, I just love Dory's expression!

 Pyjama bottoms
I wasn't prepared to buy the top with the matching bottoms, and with the cute clown fish pattern on the bottoms they made the pyjama set complete!

 Slippers
I picked up a pair of slippers for my mums pamper hamper that I'm making for her. The normal size that she would wear looked far too small so considering they're just for the house I can't really do any harm if they're a little big but they look like they'll be fine.

 Storage box
Lastly I picked up this cute little box hold everything in my mums pamper themed present, my friend had a cute idea of tying little things in the middle of the hearts so that's what I plan to do. I'm pretty
sure this was £6.
So that's everything I got from Primark, next time I'll put the receipt in a safe place!!

Shopping Day.

Hello everyone,

First of all I just want to say oops for not blogging for over a week, life and other stuff just caught up with me and all my spare moments I needed them to have a chill out time, sorry. Anyway, now I'm back and hopefully won't take as long in between posts! But I did shop..a lot, so expect a Primark and Lush hauls to be up soon.

On Monday I had a day off work, hallelujah, and I fancied a little shopping trip so I invited my two friends with me, I was kind of stressing about them meeting as we're all seeing Adele together but they had never met. Thankfully the day couldn't have really gone any better, there weren't silence from either of them and we all genuinely had a laugh..my friend actually happy cried in the home ware section of Primark. Now they're meeting is out the way I'm so excited for the 15th of March, I knew they would like each other as my guy friend just gets treated as one of the girls (sorry!) so he isn't overly loaded with 'lad banter', and he likes a good pun which my other friend from work is loaded with..seriously every punny photo she sends me now lives in my camera roll, they're brilliant!

My main aim was to buy some Mothers Day pieces in Lush and start making a pamper hamper, for my mum, I ended up treating myself a lot as well so watch out for a fairly big Primark haul and a decent Lush haul. I had such a good day and some retail therapy with two of my favourites was exactly what I needed, on the way home we sang our hearts out to Adele and then ending the fun with some cuddles just made the day pretty perfect.

This post was pretty short and shitty but I felt the need to blog something before I get some real content back.

Collective Shopping Haul | Lush, Primark & Asda.

Hello everyone,

On Saturday my day off work synced up with my mum and we haven't had a good shopping day together in a while so we ceased the oppurtunity and took off to Lakeside, as soon as we got there everywhere was rammed, it was mental! After being ran into by a screaming kid and hearing parents screaming for their little ones we soon came out of our mental happy place meaning this was probably the quckest shopping spree of our lives. We still managed to pick a few bits and bobs up and seeing as I went out to repurchase some Lush bath bombs I think it was an overall success..rushed, but still a success.

LUSH.

First of all I went to Lush, which has become my favourite shop recently and I have a slight addiction going on. I went in there to repurchase Sex Bomb and Lover Lamp then I saw a bath bomb that I had wanted for a while and got sucked in! Apart from the items that I already mentioned in my Lush Haul #1 post, I don't want to get repetitive by showing the same things, this is what I got.

This bath bomb is something I've been looking at and wanting for a long time and finally I went and picked one up, usually I'll do the smell test with new products but this was a complete impulse as I'm obsessed with Elsa..so yes, I bought this purely for the name but thankfully I love the smell!

As I was walking away from the bath section I noticed the prettiest blend of colours in a bowl of water and obviously looked mesmerised as the lady just said this is what the Twilight bath bomb looks like, you can pick one up from there. I said thank you and chose what one to get, I always look for size and if there's any damage to the product as there was a few with cracks and missing chunks.

Now this is a repurchase for me as I love this little beauty! I'm a little bit of a space dork and any cosmic looking things fascinate me so this is my ideal bath time treat, when the nebula looking foam leaves your bath is a navy, glittering sky and I love it.

PRIMARK.

Next up is Primark, my mothership for clothing..apart from jeans because my thunder thighs just need a bit of stretch when it comes to denim and I haven't found the perfect ones in here yet. Just as a warning these two items have been squashed into a bag since I bought them so they're very creased, but me and an iron just don't go together. Plus I hated the photos showing the full item so the photos don't really show you the shape but I'll explain as they're quite normal pieces.

Harry Potter Jumper - £10
Now I'm aware that this jumper is for Gryffindors, which is not my house I'm a Slytherin if you're interested, and I never buy things away from my house but I couldn't walk away without this! This long sleeved jumper isn't really thick which I love, it's just slightly thicker than a t-shirt, but I just loved the Hogwarts logo which is an embroidered patch. I got this in a size 16 and never tried it on, it fits but it's not lose if that's the type of fitting you prefer I would get the next size up and it's quite fitted.

Night Shirt - £8
Night shirts are something that I really want to get into, espicially for spring/summer time as I'm always too hot for proper pyjamas and with this lightweight material it's the perfect soloution. While the weather is still colder I'd wear this with some knee high socks to add a bit of warmth on my legs, or if it's super cold then some leggings. For £8 I think this is a bargain and I'll defintley be going back to buying more! I chose this super cute, striped shirt with the word love stitched on to the pocket, all the designs were gorgeous and I wish I had picked up more when I was there.

ASDA.

Even though I still live with my parents I love looking at and buying homeware items! I'm 20 and would love to start looking out within the next couple of years max, as much as I love my family home I'm just at that point where I want my own space and the complete indepence that comes with renting a little apartment.

My main passion in life is photography, I studied the subject for 2 years in college and loved everything that I had learned! I saw this and just couldn't leave it on the shelf, I won't be using this as a money box however as on the base there's a little bit missing where the stopper goes but that doesn't bother me at all as I have a lot of money boxes only half full. Considering I went in there to get some bedding, they didn't have the design which I wanted, and stumbled across this little gem I am well and truly chuffed.

Hope you all enjoyed looking through my little collective shopping haul, keep your eyes peeled for a review of the Lush products that I got when I get round to using them!

Primark Haul #1.

Hello everyone,

Shopping is a very expensive habit of mine, so expect an unhealthy amount of hauls on this blog. I'm not going to do much of an introduction today as I want to jump straight into it but here are the key facts. I went to Primark and spent more money than I probably should have, and here's what I bought..please note that there's a strong theme of Harry Potter and Disney!

Jasmine Tote Bag - £3
A friend had told me about these gorgeous bags before and today I finally stumbled upon them. The princesses that were there were Jasmine and Snow White, but lately I'm in such a love affair with the film Aladdin that I thought this would be a better choice - now I can save 5p on carrier bags!

 Hogwarts Jumper - £10 [size 16]
I'm an absolute sucker for anything Potter related, but I thought this jumper would be perfect for lazy days or even when the weather starts to transition from Winter to Spring as the material isn't the thickest for the brutal cold of England, unless of course you want to layer up.

 Harry Potter joggers - £10 [size 18]
Spotting these excited me so much because I wanted some more Primark joggers as I find them super comfy to lounge around in, and if a quick run to the local shop was needed then the fitted leg and elasticated bottom makes them the perfect item of clothing. I was slightly heartbroken when they didn't have my size but I settled for the next size up as they're mainly for the house anyway.

Beauty and the Beast top - £7 [size 16]
Perfect slogan top to chuck on with jeans/leggings for the days that I just can't be bothered to plan a super fashionable outfit, and to be honest with you all, that's pretty much every day! I love the different fonts used as I'm a massive fan of typography also one thing that excited me is that these sleeves look longer than the normal roll up sleeve that most Primark slogan tees have..now I can't comment if that statement is true as I never tried any of these things on but I'll be sure to let you know.

  Hogwarts Houses top - £7 [size 16]
Slytherin. Just throwing it out there for all the Potterheads reading this that I am in fact a member of Slytherin, and while you're here feel free to say what house you belong to, just so I can put some personality behind my few readers.

 Snow White top - £7 [size 16]
Simple and sweet. The gold reads, 'the fairest one of all - Snow White' with a silhouette of the princess herself. The bottom of this tee is long at the back, just enough to cover my bum, an shorter at the front with some slits up the side so I'll be pairing this up with some high waist black jeans also in hope that the gold will stand out more.

Alice in Wonderland top - £6 [size 16]
Disney meets Mean Girls, need I say more? I mainly bought this because I love the scene of the Mad Hatters tea party in the classic but now looking back it's perfect for a day that I feel like a grump or slightly bitching..sadly sometimes that happens but what I can I do?

Hope you enjoyed this fairly lengthy haul as much as I enjoyed buying all these things.

Until next time,
Shannon.
