A Chummy Day Out | Mini Haul.

Hello everyone,

For the past week or so I've been feeling pretty rough, I thought I just had my usual hayfever symptoms (itchy eyes/skin, sneezing and the slight fear of cut grass) but then the usual signs developed into a full blown cold which doesn't really suprise me and I probably have one of the worst immune systems out of everyone I know! So because of this I couldn't go out as planned on Saturday night..I even went to the trouble of warning my manager that she could have a very hungover, and possibly still slightly intoxicated, Shannon to put up with. My wild night out turned into a quiet and a sleep fullfilled night in. Now in hindsight I'm slightly thankful the night didn't go ahead as my health as got a lot better but also I didn't spend an absurd amount of money of vodka red bulls.

On Monday morning I woke up and saw that Asda had the most adorable bedding with tiny unicorns printed on them, I knew I had to buy them and as I had the day off work I made it my mission to get my hands on them! Luckily I managed to rope chummy into coming on a little shopping spree with me, which was such a bonus as we always seem to have the best days together, not to mention our careoke sessions! Sadly I wasn't successful in finding the beautiful bedding so I'll have to make a little order for that but I did make up for that loss with a lot of cuteness, just prepare yourself for a Disney packed haul.

Tsum Tsum's are something that I've been collecting for a while now and seeing as Clintons stock the older ones I had to stock up. First up is Sebastian. I already have Ariel and Flounder from the Little Mermaid collection so naturally I felt like I had to get him, also whenever I look at him I just play Under the Sea in my head and for some reason that makes me very happy.

Next is Judy Hopps, the first bunny cop, and I love her a lot. I wasn't orignally planning on buying any Tsum Tsum's from the Zootropolis collection but after my bestest friend had been bidding and won Flash for me (thank you again!!) I thought he looked lonely so I decided to buy him some little friends.

Then I went on to buying Judy's new friend and sidekick, Nick Wilde, as I love the little friendship these two have. What also won me over to Nick is his ears I just love him a lot. Apart from Flash Nick is my favourite character as I love his humour throughout the movie! Clintons were also doing an offer that if you buy 2 you get the third 50% off and I love a bargain so I thought I would stock up!

The last character that I wanted from the Zootropolis range was Clawhauser as he is so adorable. The donut loving cheetah, who works at the front desk of the ZPD. I didn't particulaly like the fact that if I didn't buy another Zootropolis character then I would only have 3 and I prefer things to either be in multiple of 5's or even numbers.

I've wanted Minnie ever since I started my collection but for some reason never got round to picking her up, the thing that drew me into her so much is her little bow and her little tail which is literally a tiny piece of string but its the small details that impress me!

Now of course I wasn't buying Minnie without her beloved, Mickey, as that would just be cruel..seriously who would split the pair up?! Mickey sadly has never really caught my attention as I think he's too basic but I guess Disney does base around him so it makes sense for me to buy him as well as matching up with his girlfriend.

Whilst we was in Clintons I saw this super cute photo frame that I've had my eye on for months but I never purchased it as naturally a cute couple photo should go in here and as I haven't been with my boyfriend for 'that' long I thought it was too soon for that. I saw there was an offer on as buy one item from the selected range and get the second for 50% off again, so I thought sod it I need this in my life even if a photo of my cats get put in here.

I think this is one of my favourite things I got on this little shopping spree, if you didn't already know I'm a huge Frozen fan and have a lot of things from the franchise, so when I saw this I knew I had to have it. This worked out perfectly really as I was looking for Disney themed frames for my trip to Disneyland in September with my bestest friend now it wasn't until we looked closer at the frame and realised that this is also actually a photo album as well which impressed me so much that I didn't even care about the price tag! I can't wait to fill this up with photos from a magical trip!

Last but not least we popped into the Disney store and I saw they had Bing Bong, I've wanted him since I saw Inside Out but could never find him in my store and didn't know if I could commit to him to make an online order, obviously I fell in love with him and went straight to the till. The smell of candlyfloss on him isn't very strong at all which I don't mind too much as my Lotso bear could be very overpowering at times. I have my eye on a candyfloss scented spray to liven him up if the smell goes completely though.

Hope you enjoyed this mini haul, I know I had an amazing day with chummy! Shopping, careoke, laughter and a spontaneous trip to beach for some candyfloss.

Primark Haul #2.

Hello everyone,

The last time I went to Primark I did a fair bit of on damage to my bank account, still the amount I spent wasn't near the amount of my biggest Primark shop..lets just say that's almost £200, that one still shocks me really! I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with everyone single thing that I picked up but I honestly love everything from this little haul.

Now before we start the photos annoy me as well as the lighting kept changing in my room but couldn't see the difference that much until I imported them on my laptop, but you can still get the idea! Also I lost my receipt so I can't put the official prices down as I can't find a lot of the things on the website so in my mini description I'll put a rough guess as to how much they were.

Hogwarts top
Now I'm a complete sucker for an easy wear slogan top, especially if it's Harry Potter themed! I think the gold Hogwarts crest sort of swung my decision to buy this as it just completed the top. I think this top was £7/8, basing this on other Potter tees I've bought in the past.

Blouse
I went through a phase when I was about 16/17 when I would always wear a collared blouse as I was obsessed with the style but collars can annoy me after a few washes as they never seem to sit perfectly in line with each other again! I saw this and thought I needed, the colour is more of a burnt orange than a bright shade. I tried this on at home and the high neck is perfect for me and there's a really cute zip detailing on the back. I'm pretty sure this cost £10.

 Mickey top
When I got this top I wasn't really too sure about wearing it in public, it was for more of a slouchy top for home but when I trying this on I realised it's probably the cutest thing ever! I love the vintage look of it, my cousin had a top like this years ago, and will be perfect for my Disneyland trip in September! I can't really remember the price for this but I think it was about £10 or under.

Pyjama top
I already own a fair few slogan tops that have the theme of Finding Nemo on them so when I saw these I thought it would be brilliant to expand that theme into my pyjamas. Originally I weren't going to buy them as I have probably too many pj's but I couldn't really leave this, I just love Dory's expression!

 Pyjama bottoms
I wasn't prepared to buy the top with the matching bottoms, and with the cute clown fish pattern on the bottoms they made the pyjama set complete!

 Slippers
I picked up a pair of slippers for my mums pamper hamper that I'm making for her. The normal size that she would wear looked far too small so considering they're just for the house I can't really do any harm if they're a little big but they look like they'll be fine.

 Storage box
Lastly I picked up this cute little box hold everything in my mums pamper themed present, my friend had a cute idea of tying little things in the middle of the hearts so that's what I plan to do. I'm pretty
sure this was £6.
So that's everything I got from Primark, next time I'll put the receipt in a safe place!!

Lush Haul #2.

Hello everyone,

If you read my most recent post you'd know that I had a little shopping spree with two friends, if you haven't read it yet then click here to read about that. I spent probably more than I should have and splurged in Lush to get some Mothers Day goodies and some little treats for myself. So here's what I bought!

Some of these things are gifts and they're all new products for me as well which I find very exciting! My Lush box that's sitting in my room is overflowing now, like seriously I still have some Christmas bits in there.

I saw this bubble bar and instantly fell in love, I got this to be in my mum's pamper hamper but I couldn't help picking one up for myself as well. It's possibly the most adorable bubble bar I've ever seen and my favourite thing in the Mothers Day range!

My hair has been so dry lately and just in pretty bad condition so I was looking around for some treatments then found this little beauty. It's a hot oil treatment so you just pop the kettle on and slowly melt the block down, I'll be reviewing this product very soon as I actually washed the treatment out about an hour ago and my hair already feels softer so I think this will become a recurring thing.

When I knew that I was making my mum a little hamper I sneakily looked through Lush with her to see what she liked, the last time we went into the shop together I remember her pointing this bath bomb out and saying how she thought it was the cutest thing so this was a must have for one of her items! I'm not sure how she'll feel about the rosebuds floating around in the water so I chose one that isn't overloaded with them just in case, I think she'll find it more relaxing than anything so that shouldn't be an issue.

I only went to pick up one of these as I loved the look and smell of this bath bomb but I thought it would be a cute addition for mum as well so I doubled up on this and no my dilemma is choosing the cutest one to give away.

My friend had recommended this product to me before so I was on a mission to finally buy it and I can't wait to pop this into my bath!

When I had my very first look at the Mothers Day range on their website I just had to have this, I'm in love with the novelty side of it. Being a lover of tea and especially 'dunk bags' as I like to call them I just thought this was the cutest! I'm not much of a fan of things floating around in the bath with me so when the tea bag actually releases some petals then I may have to scoop them out but who knows.

Now this is the last little beauty that I picked up and I either wanted to buy this or another bubble bar but as soon as I smelt this product I loved it, I know that this will sneak into my top favourites as the scent is to die for! Sorry Intergalactic but the top spot that you're sitting at just might be stolen by this blackcurrant babe.

Hope you enjoyed looking at what I picked up in the bathing mothership, I know I'm thrilled by the things I chose!

Primark Haul #1.

Hello everyone,

Shopping is a very expensive habit of mine, so expect an unhealthy amount of hauls on this blog. I'm not going to do much of an introduction today as I want to jump straight into it but here are the key facts. I went to Primark and spent more money than I probably should have, and here's what I bought..please note that there's a strong theme of Harry Potter and Disney!

Jasmine Tote Bag - £3
A friend had told me about these gorgeous bags before and today I finally stumbled upon them. The princesses that were there were Jasmine and Snow White, but lately I'm in such a love affair with the film Aladdin that I thought this would be a better choice - now I can save 5p on carrier bags!

 Hogwarts Jumper - £10 [size 16]
I'm an absolute sucker for anything Potter related, but I thought this jumper would be perfect for lazy days or even when the weather starts to transition from Winter to Spring as the material isn't the thickest for the brutal cold of England, unless of course you want to layer up.

 Harry Potter joggers - £10 [size 18]
Spotting these excited me so much because I wanted some more Primark joggers as I find them super comfy to lounge around in, and if a quick run to the local shop was needed then the fitted leg and elasticated bottom makes them the perfect item of clothing. I was slightly heartbroken when they didn't have my size but I settled for the next size up as they're mainly for the house anyway.

Beauty and the Beast top - £7 [size 16]
Perfect slogan top to chuck on with jeans/leggings for the days that I just can't be bothered to plan a super fashionable outfit, and to be honest with you all, that's pretty much every day! I love the different fonts used as I'm a massive fan of typography also one thing that excited me is that these sleeves look longer than the normal roll up sleeve that most Primark slogan tees have..now I can't comment if that statement is true as I never tried any of these things on but I'll be sure to let you know.

  Hogwarts Houses top - £7 [size 16]
Slytherin. Just throwing it out there for all the Potterheads reading this that I am in fact a member of Slytherin, and while you're here feel free to say what house you belong to, just so I can put some personality behind my few readers.

 Snow White top - £7 [size 16]
Simple and sweet. The gold reads, 'the fairest one of all - Snow White' with a silhouette of the princess herself. The bottom of this tee is long at the back, just enough to cover my bum, an shorter at the front with some slits up the side so I'll be pairing this up with some high waist black jeans also in hope that the gold will stand out more.

Alice in Wonderland top - £6 [size 16]
Disney meets Mean Girls, need I say more? I mainly bought this because I love the scene of the Mad Hatters tea party in the classic but now looking back it's perfect for a day that I feel like a grump or slightly bitching..sadly sometimes that happens but what I can I do?

Hope you enjoyed this fairly lengthy haul as much as I enjoyed buying all these things.

Until next time,
Shannon.
